Stainless Steel Bar According to the composition

Classification of editing

The components can be divided into Cr (SUS400), Cr - Ni series (SUS300), cr-mn-ni (SUS200) and precipitation hardening (SUS600).

200 series - chromium - nickel - manganese austenitic stainless steel

300 series - chromium - nickel austenitic stainless steel

301 - ductility, used for molding products. It can also be hardened by machine. Good weldability. The abrasion resistance and fatigue strength are superior to 304 stainless steel.

302 - corrosion resistance and 304, as carbon is relatively high and thus stronger.

303 - by adding a small amount of sulfur and phosphorus to make it more machining.

304 -- 18/8 stainless steel. GB is 06Cr19Ni10.

309 -- better temperature resistance than 304.

316 - after 304, the second most widely used type of steel, mainly used in food industry and surgical equipment, added molybdenum elements to give it an anti-corrosion special structure. Because of its better anti-chloride corrosion capability than 304, it is also used as "Marine steel". SS316 is usually used for nuclear fuel recovery devices. Grade 18/10 stainless steel is also usually in this application level.

Model 321 - except for the addition of titanium to reduce the risk of weld corrosion of the material, other performance is similar to 304.

400 series - ferrite and martensite stainless steel

408 - good heat resistance, weak corrosion resistance, 11 % Cr, 8 % Ni.

409 - the cheapest model (British and American), usually used as a car exhaust pipe, is a ferritic stainless steel (chrome steel).

410 - martensite (high strength chromium steel), good wear resistance and less corrosion resistance.

416 - added sulfur improves the processing performance of the material.

420 - "blade grade" martensitic steel, the earliest stainless steel, such as brinell high chromium steel. It is also used for surgical cutting tools, which can be very bright.

430 - ferritic stainless steel, decorative, for example, for car accessories. Good forming, but poor resistance and corrosion resistance.

440 - high strength cutting steel with slightly higher carbon content. After proper heat treatment, high yield strength can be obtained. The hardness can reach 58HRC, which belongs to the most hardened stainless steel column. The most common example of this is the razor blade. There are three commonly used models: 440A, 440B, 440C, and 440F (easily processed).

500 series - heat-resistant chromium alloy steel.

600 series - martensite deposition hardening stainless steel.

630 - the most commonly used precipitation hardened stainless steel model, commonly called 17-4; 17% 17% Cr, Ni.
